Ethyl Acetate is an excellent fast-evaporating solvent for nitrocellulose. It is used in the manufacture of adhesives and cements. It finds used as an extraction solvent for a number of crude drugs and is an important ingredient of many flavour essences and perfumes. It is also used in the manufacture of cleaning fluids,nail-polish removers, printing and synthetic inks.
